Del Sol Medical Center Announces Acquisition of Digital Mammography to Detect Breast Cancer
In our commitment to make some of the most advanced technology available to the people of El Paso, Del Sol Medical Center is pleased to announce our acquisition of a powerful new Full-Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) system: the Senographe® Essential from GE Healthcare.
The GE Healthcare Senographe® Essential Digital Mammography system is the latest in the GE Senographe® series. With a large installed base, it sets the standard by which all other mammography systems are measured. As a FFDM system, Senographe® Essential has the market’s largest field of view, allowing for precision imaging of very diverse body types. Featuring GE’s proven digital flat-panel detector for outstanding image quality, along with advanced viewing features for crystal-clear detail throughout the breast, the new Essential provides patients and physicians with some of the best tools available today in the fight for early detection of breast cancer.
