Chest Pain Center

Know your heart
Know the facts about your heart. It could save your life. That’s why our Chest Pain Center evaluates patients with chest pain to determine if immediate intervention for an acute condition is needed or if you simply need to be monitored and observed. With specialized examination and treatment rooms, our Center offers rapid EKG interpretation, point of care biomarker testing for acute MI and CHF, continuous cardiac monitoring, and access to advanced diagnostics such as digital echocardiography and cardiac catheterization. That means you will be evaluated right away and given the appropriate immediate medical attention.
Know the facts
We want you to be “heart smart” and learn to recognize the warning signs of a heart attack. These include:
• Discomfort in the center of your chest
• Shortness of breath
• Pain in shoulder, arm, neck, jaw or stomach
• Sudden onset of nausea, cold sweats or light-headedness
If you or a loved one experiences any of these symptoms, call 911 and get help fast. Studies show that medication and other treatments work best to stop a heart attack when given within one hour of the start of symptoms.
